Overview

Data File Related Issues

General

If your data file has moved, your data file user name or password has changed or you are having trouble connecting to your datafile, you may need to change how BudgetLink connects to your data file. For more information, see Changing how BudgetLink connects to your data file.

MYOB AccountRight Classic 19.10 or lower

MYOB AccountRight Classic 19.10 or lower

For BudgetLink or other third-party software to connect to your MYOB data file, the MYOB ODBC Driver must be installed and configured correctly. For more information, see Troubleshooting the MYOB ODBC driver.

Some users also experience the get data failing to read specific tables. For more information, see Why did the Get Data process fail to read my MYOB AccountRight Classic table.

Error messages when connecting to MYOB AccountRight Live


MYOB AccountRight Live 2014 or lower

For BudgetLink or other third-party software to connect to your MYOB data file either on a local machine or on a server, many components must be installed and running. For more information, see the following topics.

For users who used have installed multiple versions of AccountRight Live and who may have used the PC installation (as opposed to Server installation) of the latest AccountRight Live, you may need to uninstall the old MYOB AccountRight Live API. For more information, see the following topic.

Reckon Accounts

For BudgetLink or other third-party software to connect to your Reckon Accounts data file, the BudgetLink application must be authorized to connect.
