Errors
Out of Disk Space error
Some times during Getdata process you will receive a warning that you are running Out of Disk Space. Click here to know more about this.
Deleted Accounts or Jobs
Sometimes BudgetLink will prompt that it detected deleted accounts, jobs or categories. This occurs when budgets have been entered against those entities but they have been removed from your data file. As such, BudgetLink will still remember they existed and will preserve the values but will warn that the situation occurred.
To clear the budgets out of deleted accounts or jobs, see Clearing budgets out of deleted accounts or jobs.
Turning off Compact/Repair
By default, BudgetLink ships with the option to compact and repair databases on get data. This sometimes can fail and prevent the get data from completing on some machine. To change this option, see Enabling or disabling the compact databases on get data option.
Turning on Developer Mode to check temporary files generated during get data
The get data process uses a temp folder. You can turn on developer mode to have a look at the files generated during get data. See How to turn on developer mode for more information.

Excel crashes when closing the progress dialogue
Some users experience crashes in Excel when closing the progress dialogue. To resolve this problem, you will need to configure BudgetLink to automatically close the progress dialogue for you. For further information, see Configuring BudgetLink to automatically close the get data progress dialogue.
