Overview
The Get Data process uses a temp folder to store and process the data downloaded from your Accounting Package. BudgetLink provide the ability to chose where this temp folder is located.
How to choose a different temp folder
To choose a different temp folder, follow these steps.
- Start BudgetLink and cancel all the prompts displayed at started;
- From the Menu, select 30. Settings then Options;
- Click the Set User Options button;
- Change the Get Data Folder option to one of the following options.
- Perform Get Data using USER'S temp folder will force BudgetLink to use user temp folder.
- Perform Get Data using C:\Temp folder will force BudgetLink to use the C:\Temp\BudgetLink\ folder.
- Perform Get Data using nominated folder will force BudgetLink to use the folder you choose.
- If using Perform Get Data using nominated folder, click the Browse button and select the folder that will be used.
- Click Save and Close the dialogue.
