Overview

Brief introductory notes outlining the topic.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this page. There are other pre-requisites to installing ODBClink, but they are contained on the hub page instead. If they were included here each page on this level would have to be updated in the case of a change.

Contents

(Text as currently on existing page Choose the folder to install ODBClink.)

  • The default path is the C:\ODBClink(Version Number). We recommend that use this folder unless you want multiple people to use the solution and you have a server or you are a service provider and you will be using ODBClink for multiple Clients.
  • If browsing to a folder location other than the default we suggest that you ensure that the installation path ends in a folder name with the naming convention 'ODBClink v[Version Number]'. This will assist with identifying the ODBClink version
  • If ODBClink is installed on a network location, you will need to ensure that users have the correct permissions to the ODBClink folder in order to use the application. Please see Troubleshooting folder permissions for more information.
  • If upgrading, do not change the path to override the existing installation as you will loose all your old configurations.

Troubleshooting
