Overview

Start-Up write access error

For ODBClink to complete the Get Data process and to backup database files successfully, certain folder security permissions must be set. These settings will allow data to be extracted from your accounting products data file and be written to the ODBClink databases.

As a minimum, all ODBClink users must have Read and Write access to all files and sub folders of the ODBClink folder and the C:/Temp/ODBClink folder.

Giving all ODBClink users Full Control to the ODBClink folder itself and to all sub folders and files will ensure that ODBClink can work correctly.

Furthermore, ODBClink cannot be installed in C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\.
