Main installation hub page, should contain links to all installation related topics. Troubleshooting: Installation will have it's own hub page.

I had previously created PL: Installation.

Overview

Download and install ODBClink.

Download ODBClink

Existing Page: Downloading ODBClink

ODBClink is available to try for 30 days via our website. (Notes for PL = review content to match website).

For more information about downloading ODBClink, please view the PL: Downloading ODBClink guide.

Prerequisites

If you are using MYOB AccountRight v.19 or lower, please confirm the MYOB and MYOB ODBC Driver version compatibility before proceeding.

You may also wish to check the Supported Data Points to confirm that ODBClink is right for you.

E.g. There are a few things you need to do before ODBClink can be successfully installed.

  1. PL: Enabling Macros in Microsoft Excel
  2. PL: Installing the MYOB ODBC Driver (v.19 and lower)
  3. PL: Installing the MYOB AccountRight Live API

There are two other existing pages which provide related introductory information:

ODBClink System Folder : The existing ODBClink System Folder page contains only this text:

The ODBClink system folder is the main folder which contains all the distributed components of ODBClink. Unless you are familiar with ODBClink, we do not recommend adding, editing or removing anything from within this folder.

It doesn't have any links, and the information it does provide is of an introductory nature that may be best included on this Installation hub page. Would you be happy for me to move this information to this section or does the OBDClink System Folder page serve another purpose? (It could be redirected to this page instead).

There is also ODBClink Folder.

Following on from that introductory information, we could say something like:

Before proceeding to install ODBClink, please view the guidelines about where to install the ODBClink application.

PL: Choose the folder to install ODBClink

The installation location should be chosen before proceeding to the next step.

Installing ODBClink

Once you have downloaded ODBCLink and ensured that all the prerequisite steps have been completed, you can proceed to PL: Installing ODBClink.

There is also this existing page: ODBClink Installer - it doesn't contain any links and it's content is duplicated. Are you happy to remove and redirect this page to Installing ODBClink?
