Overview
A trusted location allows Excel to recognise files as being Safe.
Adding a trusted location in Excel will ensure that ODBClink starts automatically rather than needing to Enable Macros each and every time.
In addition, on some machines, adding a trusted location will prevent ODBClink compile error.
Adding a trusted location automatically when first starting ODBClink
The first time you start the ODBClink, you will prompt to add a trusted location automatically. We strongly recommend you choose to do so by clicking Yes.
Adding a trusted location manually
Alternatively, if you prefer adding the trusted location yourself, follow these steps.
- Adding a Trusted Location in Microsoft Excel 2007;
- Adding a Trusted Location in Microsoft Excel 2010 or 2013;
