Overview

If DirectDebitsLink fails to connect to your MYOB data file, it may be that the MYOB AccountRight Live API is not running.

This article only applies if you are using the MYOB AccountRight Live PC installation and not the Server installation. See How to confirm if MYOB AccountRight Live was installed using the PC or Server Installation for more information.

Confirming the MYOB AccountRight Live addon connector is running

To confirm the MYOB AccountRight Live API addon connector is running, follow these steps.

  1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL on your Keyboard and choose to run the Task Manager;
  2. Select the Processes tab and sort all processes by Image Name;
  3. Scroll down the list until you find MYOB.AccountRight.API.AddOnConnector.exe.

If the MYOB.AccountRight.API.AddOnConnector.exe is listed, it means the API is up and running and should be working. If it is not running, see Starting the MYOB AccountRight Live software to resolve Get Data issues.
