Overview

In order for ODBClink to connect to your MYOB data file correctly, the MYOB ODBC Driver must be installed and working correctly. This applies to MYOB AccountRight Classic but does not apply to MYOB AccountRight Live.

In order for the MYOB ODBC Driver to function correctly, some things must be configured correctly on your machine. In most situations, users do not experience any problems. The purpose of this guide is to assist those who have problems.

Install the MYOB ODBC driver

The MYOB ODBC driver must be installed in order for third-party software to connect to your MYOB Classic data file.

If installed MYOB ODBC Direct v10 AUS will appear in Programs and Features in the Windows Control Panel

Test the MYOB ODBC driver using the TestConnection tool from MYOB

MYOB provides a TestConnection utility that can be used to test and see if the MYOB ODBC driver is installed and running correctly. For more information, see Testing the MYOB ODBC driver using the TestConnection tool from MYOB.

Check File and Folder Access Requirements
