How to move ODBClink to a new Computer

Overview

If you have a new computer or your handing over the role of administering ODBClink to another person then follow the steps below to move ODBClink to that new Computer

Procedure

  1. Locate the ODBClink folder
  2. Cut the entire folder
  3. Paste into a folder on the new Computer. Existing license keys will get copied across.
  4. Setup read write access to both the new ODBClink folder and its sub folders and to the C:\Temp folder
  5. Run ODBClink on a new Computer for the first time

Notes

If you download and install a new version rather than copying the existing one, any settings and customisations will be lost. A new license key will also be required. If you wish to upgrade the the latest version, download the upgrade after you move the existing version across
