How to install a custom report received as drop box download link

Overview

All ODBClink reports are self contained Excel workbooks that can be shipped and installed independently of each other. The only requirement is that they are located within the ODBClink's system folder. Follow the below procedure if you receive the custom report as a DropBox link.

Procedure

To install a custom report received as drop box download link, follow these steps.

Start ODBClink.

  1. From the Menu, click on 35. Help, then choose Links;
  2. Click on the hyperlink next to System Folder;
  3. Copy the folder location displayed in the address bar at the top of the windows explorer window;
  4. Open your email containing the download link
  5. Click on the link to view an image of the template in you web browser
  6. Click Download and then choose Direct download
  7. Choose to save the file and paste the copied folder location;
  8. Return to ODBClink and click on the Refresh Menu button;

The new report should appear in the menu.
