How to install a custom report received as an email attachment

Overview

All ODBClink reports are self contained Excel workbooks that can be shipped and installed independently of each other. The only requirement is that they are located within the ODBClink's system folder. Follow the below procedure if you receive the custom report as an attachment in an email.

Procedure

To install a custom report received as an email attachment, follow these steps.

Start ODBClink

  1. From the Menu, click on 35. Help, then choose Links;
  2. Click on the hyperlink next to System Folder;
  3. Copy the folder location displayed in the address bar at the top of the windows explorer window;
  4. Go to your email and chose to save the attachment and paste the address copied;
  5. Click the save button;
  6. Return to ODBClink and click on the Refresh Menu button;

The new report should appear in the menu.
