Enabling or disabling the compact databases on get data option

Overview

By default, ODBClink ships with the option to compact and repair databases on get data. This sometimes can fail and prevent the get data from completing on some machine.

How to enable or disable the compact databases on get data option

To enable or disable the compact databases on get data option, follow these steps.

1. From the ODBClink Menu, click on 30. Settings then Options;
2. Click on the Set User Options button;
3. Within the options dialogue, select the Get Data category from the list on the left-hand side;
4. Tick or untick the Compact Databases on Get Data option;
5. Click Save to save the options;
6. Click Close to close the options dialogue;
7. Return to the Menu and click on the Get Data button.
