Delete a Data File Archive

Overview

The ODBClink and Pro Editions have a data file archive feature. An archive is basically a storage of historical data.

It is used to reduce the get data time by only downloading transactions from the current financial year

If the archive gets corrupted historical data might be missing.

A corrupt archive can be fixed by deleting it. Upon the next full get data the cache will rebuild itself

Delete an Archive

  1. From the Main Menu go to 30. Settings > Data Files > Manage Data Files
  2. Choose yes to backup when prompted
  3. Select the data file and click Edit Data File
  4. Click the Options tab
  5. Click Delete Archive and Yes to confirm
  6. Click OK and OK to return the the Data files form
  7. Click Get Data and choose Full Get Data
