Charts disappear when publishing

For some users, charts can disappear when publishing. This seems to be especially common in Excel 2010 and Excel 2013. Not all solutions work but it is best to try each one until the solution is resolved.

Adding a trusted location

Changing the default file format

For Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013 users, ensuring the default file format of Excel is XLSM resolves many problems. For more information, see Changing the default file format in Microsoft Excel.

Repair or Reinstall Microsoft Office

If the previous solutions do not help resolve the problem, it may be worth considering reinstalling Microsoft Office. Please contact your IT Support provider.
