Overview

ExcelReportLink stores the information relating to your data file in a database. This ensures that you do not need to specify how to connect to your data file each and every time. However, you may need to change this configuration when your data file moves, when user names or passwords are changed, or for any other reason.

Changing how ExcelReportLink connects to your data file

Manage Data Files Dialogue

To change how ExcelReportLink connects to your data file, follow these steps.

  1. Open the Data File Setup Dialogue
  2. Change any settings required and click OK;
  3. Click Close on the Manage Data Files dialogue.
