How to choose a different temp folder

Overview

The Get Data process uses a temp folder to store and process the data downloaded from your Accounting Package. DirectDebitsLink provide the ability to chose where this temp folder is located.

How to choose a different temp folder

To choose a different temp folder, follow these steps.

1. Start DirectDebitsLink and cancel all the prompts displayed at started;
2. From the Menu, select 30. Settings then Options;
3. Click the Set User Options button;
4. Change the Get Data Folder option to one of the following options.

   • Perform Get Data using USER'S temp folder will force DirectDebitsLink to use user temp folder.
   • Perform Get Data using C:\Temp folder will force DirectDebitsLink to use the C:\Temp\DirectDebitsLink\ folder.
   • Perform Get Data using nominated folder will force DirectDebitsLink to use the folder you choose.

5. If using Perform Get Data using nominated folder, click the Browse button and select the folder that will be used.
6. Click Save and Close the dialogue.
