Overview
DirectDebitsLink stores the information relating to your data file in a database. This ensures that you do not need to specify how to connect to your data file each and every time. However, you may need to change this configuration when your data file moves, when user names or passwords are changed, or for any other reason.
Changing how DirectDebitsLink connects to your data file
To change how DirectDebitsLink connects to your data file, follow these steps.
- Start DirectDebitsLink;
- Cancel or close any warning messages or prompts displayed at start-up;
- From the Menu, click on the 30. Settings item and then Data Files;
- Click the Manage Data Files button; The Manage Data Files dialog will display
- Select your data file from the list displayed and click Edit Data File; The Data file setup dialog will display
- Change any settings required and click OK;
- Click Close on the Manage Data Files dialogue.
