Microsoft recently released '''Stale Value Formatting''' for Excel on Windows.
In October 2024, Microsoft released an update that can make all cells in BudgetLink and Excel have '''strikethrough'''.

When the underlying data in any cell changes after Get Data is complete, Excel denotes the cell as '''Stale''' since the underlying formula has not been recalculated.
The purpose of this update was to highlight cells that need to be recalculated when manual calculation is enabled. However, this has the unfortunate side effect of putting '''strikethrough''' through all cells in BudgetLink. This is because BudgetLink is designed with volatile formulas; that is, where the contents of the formulas change based on external factors (the get data process).

BudgetLink uses Visual Basic Scripts to perform calculations, hence the cell formula never changes, but the underlying data does.

To disable stale values formatting and remove strikethrough from the cells, please follow the steps below.
