Overview
After editing a report layout, you can permanently save the layout by updating the report template
Procedure
Follow the steps below to update a report template
- Activate the Report
- Click Save in Excel. A Save Options dialogue form will appear
- Click the Update button.
The report template will be backed up to the Backup\Workbooks folder The Report will then be cleared and then saved with the layout changes
Notes
If you want to keep a copy of the original report, start by copying the Worksheet in the workbook before editing the report layout
