13 4-Weekly and 4-4-5 Weekly Reporting Periods
The Challenge
While producing weekly reports is possible using BudgetLink, the next challenge is to consolidate the weekly periods into 13 4-weekly periods or 4-4-5 weekly periods to represent months.
What can be done ?
With BudgetLink, you can control how the weeks roll into months by entering the number of weeks for each month.
How does it work ?
You simply need to download BudgetLink and connect it to your data files. Once connected and fully setup, BudgetLink can convert the weekly basis figures into monthly figures.
It does require some setup and/or consulting to ensure everything is up and running correctly:
- Enter 4 weeks against each months to produce reports using 13 months or;
- Enter 4-4-5, 4-5-4 or 5-4-4 repeated for each month to produce reports using 12 months where the number of weeks vary each month.
The 4-Weekly Periods work for the following accounting software:
- MYOB AccountRight Classic (MYOB Accounting, Accounting Plus and Premier);
- MYOB AccountRight Live;
- MYOB AccountEdge;
- QuickBooks.
