Providing useful reports to the board is only part of the challenge. It is also important to analyse the numbers and provide meaningful insight into what is actually happening in your organisation.

BudgetLink provides the ability to capture comments on reports.
How does it work ?
Comments can either be entered as a Excel comment or in an cell depending on your preference.
These comments are saved to a database so that they reappear the next time you run the report using the same filters. They can even appear on other reports showing the same figures.
The comments end up belonging to the itemised data appearing on the report. As such, different companies, accounts, jobs, years or periods can have entirely different comments.
