If the ODBClink has problem connecting to your MYOB AccountRight Live data file, the first step is determining if you installed MYOB using the '''PC''' or '''Server''' installer as the API runs slightly differently depending on which installer you used.

In the case of the PC installation, the API should automatically start when starting your MYOB AccountRight Live software.

In the case of the Server installation, the API is actually a windows service which should start when starting the machine.
