Overview

Start-Up write access error

For DirectDebitsLink to complete the Get Data process and to backup database files successfully, certain folder security permissions must be set. These settings will allow data to be extracted from your accounting products data file and be written to the DirectDebitsLink databases.

As a minimum, all DirectDebitsLink users must have Read and Write access to all files and sub folders of the DirectDebitsLink folder and the C:/Temp/DirectDebitsLink folder.

Giving all DirectDebitsLink users Full Control to the DirectDebitsLink folder itself and to all sub folders and files will ensure that DirectDebitsLink can work correctly.

Furthermore, DirectDebitsLink cannot be installed in C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\.
