Overview

Although MYOB comes pre-loaded with existing credit card payment methods, we strongly recommend creating a new credit card payment specific for your merchant facility. This is to allow you to process all credit card payments for your merchant facility as opposed to by credit card.

Setup the Merchant Facility Credit Card Payment Method

To setup the merchant facility credit card payment method, follow these steps.

1. Open your MYOB data file;
2. Using the menu, select List > Sales & Purchases Information > Payment Methods;
3. Click the New button;
4. In the next screen, enter a name (e.g. that of your merchant facility);
5. Select Credit Card in the Method Type dropdown;
6. Click OK to add this new payment method;
7. Click Close.
