Renaming your MYOB AccountRight Classic data file to fix connection issues

Overview

The MYOB ODBC driver can have problems connecting to specific files. Typically, this is caused when your file name looks complex.

If the get data process crashes or fails, we recommend removing the following characters from your file name: & , - ..

To test it out, we recommend you first make a copy of your MYOB file and give it a shorter, cleaner name. Once done, connect DirectDebitsLink to this copy of your data file and run a get data and see if it helps.
