When Publishing Visual Basic for Applications editor opens

Overview

When publishing reports, the Visual Basic for Applications editor may open which will prevent the publish process from completing.

To prevent this from happening follow the steps below.

Procedure

Trust access to the VBA object model

1. Close BudgetLink
2. Start Excel;
3. Go File \ Options;
4. Click on Trust Centre;
5. Click on Trust Centre Settings button;
6. Go to Macro Settings;
7. Tick the Trust access to the VBA object model;
8. Click Ok/Close all dialogue and excel;
9. Start BudgetLink;
10. Try Publishing again. It should succeed this time;
