How to enable or disable the Accruals (Company) version

Overview

When connecting with AccountRight Live the Accruals (Company) version allows you to produce reports on an accruals basis at the company and by month level only (ie no jobs or categories).

In older versions this was disabled at start up. The notes below explain how to enable or disable this version.

How to enable or disable the Accruals (Company) version

Version Options

To enable or disable the Accruals (Categories) version, follow these steps.

  1. From the Main Menu, click on 30. Settings and then Options;
  2. Click on the Set User Options button;
  3. Select Versions from the list on the left-hand side in the User Options dialogue;
  4. In the first list displayed on the right, tick or untick Enable Accruals (Company) Version;
  5. If you dont require actual data by job then you can untick Enable Actual Version and this will make the get data run faster.
  6. Click Save and OK;
  7. Click Close;
  8. Run a Get Data.
