How to change the number of backups taken

Overview

BudgetLink allows you to control the number of back ups taken. It works by adding new backups into a default back up folder up to the Backup limit which is stored in settings and the deletes the oldest one. The default limit on backups is 50.

To change the number of backups taken follow the procedure below

Procedure

To setup the default backup folder, follow these instructions.

  1. Start BudgetLink;
  2. From the Menu, click 30. Settings, then Options
  3. Click the Set User Options button;
  4. On the Options dialogue, select Backup from the list on the left-hand side;
  5. At Backup Database Count, change the number to be the maximum number of backups to be taken;
  6. Click Save to save the options;
  7. Click Close to close the Options dialogue.
