Overview

The company groups functionality allows you to define your own consolidation level of your data files. Similar to the Consolidated Company, you will then be able to control how your data files get aggregated together and you will be able to run report against these company groups.

While company groups control which data files get added together, it is important to stress that account hierarchies control how the accounts of these data files get added together.

Managing Company Groups

BudgetLink allows you to create any number of company groups. For more information, see the following topics:

Using company groups on reports

Once company groups are created, BudgetLink has the capability to produce profit and loss, balance sheet or most other reports against these company groups. For more information, see Customising which company group gets used on a report.
