Report on Purged Data
The Challenge
MYOB v19.10 or lower does purge data when rolling over your data file. This purged data is lost from reporting. This explains why MYOB only allows you to run report for last year, this year and next year.
What can be done ?
BudgetLink provides the ability to retain purged information from MYOB into it’s own database. This in turns allows you to report on any historical data, even if it is no longer present within your MYOB data file.
How does it work ?
During the Get Data process, BudgetLink caches your data into it’s own database. It is this external caching mechanism which ensures that the data can still be used for reports.
