Troubleshooting Auto Upload Problems
Overview
Auto Upload is a function that runs the Get Data process on a schedule. The main purpose of Auto Upload is to remove the manual running of the Get Data process and to move the processing to a non-productive time such as overnight.
Most problems relating to Auto Upload revolve around your windows environment. This article will provide solutions to ensure the Auto Upload process runs smoothly.
Follow the steps maticulously as its important none of them a missed in the process in order for it to work
Test the Auto Upload can be run manually
We recommend you test the Auto Upload manually to ensure it is running correctly. For more information, see Test the Auto Upload can be run manually.
Test the Auto Upload Scheduled Task is configured correctly

Test using the Auto Upload Test file

Configure the Auto Upload Scheduled Task to terminate after a set number of hours
If the Auto Upload task does not finish (for various reasons), windows will schedule it to run when next required. It is recommended to configure the scheduled task to terminate if it runs longer than it should. Configure SQL Server data warehouses to not 'Use Trusted Connection'
