Saving Custom Reports
Overview
Saving in ODBClink is slightly different to saving normal Excel workbook as the reports themselves may contain a lot of automation.
How to save as a new custom report
To save as a new custom report, follow these steps.
- Click Save in Excel;
- When prompted, click the Save As New Custom Report button;
- Enter a new name for your custom report and click Save.
Your custom report will be automatically saved in the correct location and will automatically appear in the Menu.
How to save updates to an existing custom report
To save updates to an existing custom report, follow these steps.
- Click Save in Excel;
- When prompted, click the Save Custom Report button.
Note that the Save Custom Report button will only be available if the report you are saving is not the original Standard Report. If it is, you will need to first create a new custom report using the Save As New Custom Report.
