This will be a hub page for all topics related to the MYOB ODBC Driver.
There are six current pages that are related. There is some duplication in at least two of these pages, for example, this is the introductory text on the MYOB ODBC Driver page:
- The MYOB ODBC Driver is the component that allows third-party developers to connect their software with MYOB AccountRight v19.9 or lower. Each version of MYOB requires a different ODBC driver. For more information, see MYOB and MYOB ODBC Driver version compatibility.
And this is the introductory text on the Installing the MYOB ODBC driver page:
- The MYOB ODBC Driver is the component that allows third-party software to connect to your MYOB AccountRight 19 or lower data file. The correct driver that matches your version of MYOB must be installed. For more information, see MYOB and MYOB ODBC Driver version compatibility. While this driver is usually installed by MYOB at the same time as MYOB is installed, in some situation this does not happen and you must manually install it.
These could be streamlined by including this introductory information on this hub page.

Installing the MYOB ODBC Driver
To install the MYOB ODBC driver, follow these instructions.
- From the windows Start menu, choose All Programs;
- Find your MYOB software in the list and select it;
- Click on the MYOB Tools folder;
- Click the Install MYOB ODBC Direct v10 item;
- Follow the installation prompts to complete the installation process.
Notes
- You will need to be logged in with administrator privileges in order to install the driver.
- The correct driver that matches your version of MYOB must be installed. For more information, see MYOB and MYOB ODBC Driver version compatibility.
