Overview
Users of Excel 2013 and 2016 have found that disabling Excel Graphics Hardware Acceleration can resolve display issues, improve stability and improve performance.
If you are experiencing any odd behaviours in Excel, we strongly recommend you try disabling it and see if it resolves issues.
Note
- If you are using Excel 2007 or 2010, you do not need to worry about disabling graphics hardware acceleration as those versions of Excel didn't use the Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) for displaying information.
