Editing a job group

Overview

BudgetLink has the ability to have job groups which can be used to control the list of jobs available.

To edit a job group, follow these steps. If using security, you must be logged in as the administrator before being allowed to edit job groups.

  1. From the main Menu in BudgetLink, click on 30. Settings;
  2. Click on Jobs item in the menu;
  3. Click on the Manage Job Groups button;
  4. Log in as the Administrator if prompted;
  5. Select the job group to edit and click the Edit Job Group button;
  6. Update the Name and Description for the job group;
  7. Edit the list of rules using either Add Rule, Edit Rule or Remove Rule. For more information, see Controlling a job group using rules;
  8. Click OK to save and close the Job Group dialogue;
  9. Click Close on the Manage Job Groups dialogue.
