How to delete existing data file

Overview

To delete the data files which are already linked to BudgetLink please follow the below procedure.

Procedure

Data File Setup dialogue

1. Start BudgetLink;
2. From the Menu Go to 30.Settings>Data files;
3. Click on Manage Data Files.;
4. In Manage Data Files form ,Select the data file you want to delete and then click Remove Data File Button.;
5. Ignore the warning and then click Remove;

Note

• If you there are more than 2 data files and you deleted the master data file then the data file on the top of the list will become the master data file by default.
