Comments can be entered in the '''Notes''' column available in selected reports, for example in the [[Budget Variance by Month Report]] of the [[Profit and Loss Report Pack]].

These comments are stored in the database against the variance and will display on all other reports where the same variance value is displayed. The advantage of comments entered in the '''Notes''' column is that they can be read when the report is printed.

== How to enter comments or notes ==

To enter comments, type into the yellow cells of any comments column. The text entered will be automatically saved.

* You do not need to save the workbook at all. The comments will be redisplayed the next time you run the report and choose the same customised parameters.
