DirectDebitsLink exists as a series of files and folders contained with a main folder. It is secured to a hard drive. In order to move DirectDebitsLink to a new location, the main folder must be copied in full to the new location. If moving DirectDebitsLink to a new machine or hard drive, you will need to obtain a transfer key. Be aware that costs may apply to request your transfer key.
This guide describes how to move DirectDebitsLink to a new Location (machine or folder).  


You will need to perform three steps:
From a Technical perspective the DirectDebitsLink solution is a collection of Excel Workbooks with Macros and databases. The actual application is Microsoft Excel
# Move the DirectDebitsLink folder to the new machine
# Request a Transfer Key (only if moving to a new machine or hard drive);
# Enter the Transfer Key into DirectDebitsLink (only if moving to a new machine or hard drive).

So when moving to a new location its similar to moving a folder of workbooks. So long as you have Excel installed there is not software to install


Please follow these instructions to move the DirectDebitsLink folder to a new location.
All you need to do is move the [[DirectDebitsLink Folder]] and its contents to the new location.


# Locate the [[DirectDebitsLink Folder]] to move;
Once moved you need to make sure that all users have full read right access to the DirectDebitsLink folder and the C:\temp folder
# Copy and paste the folder to the new location;
