Overview
This guide describes how to move DirectDebitsLink to a new Location (machine or folder).
From a Technical perspective the DirectDebitsLink solution is a collection of Excel Workbooks with Macros. The actual application is Microsoft Excel
So when moving to a new location its similar to moving a folder of workbooks. So long as you have Excel installed there is not software to install
All you need to do is move the DirectDebitsLink Folder and its contents to the new location.
Once moved you need to make sure that all users have full read right access to the DirectDebitsLink folder and the C:\temp folder
Upon starting for the first time there is a one time setup wizard that will create short customers and create trusted locations so that it will run
Once moved and tested in the new location if no longer required on the old location you can delete that copy
Procedure
Please follow these instructions to move the DirectDebitsLink folder to a new location.
- Locate the DirectDebitsLink Folder to move;
- Copy and paste the folder to the new location;
- Grant the user folder permissions
- Setup DirectDebitsLink on the new PC
- Delete the DirectDebitsLink Folder in the old location
