Overview
If you want to share / DirectDebitsLink and you don't have or want to use a server is can be shared using Dropbox. This support note explains how to do that. Because Dropbox synchronises the databases rather than updating them like on a Server, only one person can enter data or change setting at the same time. For this reason, if choosing the Dropbox sharing path we recommend that you designate one person to either update DirectDebitsLink and or control when users can update date. If you don't then the consequence could be duplicated databases and someone loosing their changes. As a safe guard re recommend that you lock y with a password if sharing using Drop Box. So if you are good with the above limitations then go for it
Preparation
- Confirm that you have Drop Box installed
- Confirm that your version of DirectDebitsLink is compatible with Drop Box
Procedure
- Move your DirectDebitsLink folder from it's current folder to your Dropbox folder
- Share DirectDebitsLink from Dropbox
