Overview

If you have a new machine or wish to hand over BudgetLink operations to another person, then you can want move BudgetLink to a new machine or folder. This guide will explain how to do that.

Procedure

  1. Locate the existing Budgetlink folder you wish to move;
  2. Cut and paste it to the new location;
  3. Enable user access to BudgetLink folders
  4. Start BudgetLink in the new location by double clicking the BudgetLink.exe file located in the BudgetLink Folder;

A New User Setup Wizard will start

A Transfer Key may be required.

BudgetLink should now be useable on the new machine. Be mindful you may need to update your data connection. See Changing how BudgetLink connects to your data file for more information.
