How to change the start of the financial year

Set Up

If you have an MYOB file with a particular financial year end, say June but you want your financial reports to end in Dec.

Budget Link has a solution to change to an alternate financial year end.

How to setup Alternate financial year end.

Please follow the below steps.

1. Start BudgetLink
2. From the menu click on 30.settings.
3. Click on Options and Administration.
4. Click on Set Users Options Button
5. You will see the pop out window as shown in the figure beside.
6. In the pop out Menu click on Years.
7. Check the box for "Populate using Alternate Financial year"
8. Click Save
9. Click Close
10. Click back arrow beside Options and Administration.

Get Data

After setting up the alternate financial year refresh the reports by following the Get Data Process before generating a report.
