Overview

BudgetLink can report using the profit and loss and balance sheet accounts from your data file. If your chart of accounts contain a hierarchy (nested accounts), BudgetLink can produce your reports at any level required.

BudgetLink also provides more advanced functionality. Consult the following how to guides for more information.

How To Guides

How to change the level at which your chart of account is shown

By default, BudgetLink is configured to retrieve your full chart of accounts on reports. However, using the Customise functionality, you can change the level at which you see your chart of account. For more information, see How to change the level at which your chart of account is shown.

How to restructure the accounts use on reports

By default, BudgetLink will use your native chart of account as defined within your data file. If you need to reorder or restructure your chart of accounts, you can use Account Hierarchies or Account Sets.

Account Hierarchies allow you to define additional chart of accounts in order to report on your data in different ways.

Account Sets allow you to slice your chart of accounts in order to report against various entities, departments or areas of interest.
