Through our consulting work with the MYOB product, one common issue user’s have relates to splitting payroll and overheads across multiple jobs. While MYOB does allow you to allocate payroll data to a single job, it is very difficult for all the payroll data to be split against multiple jobs efficiently.
The Payroll Job Reallocation Solution, an add-on to MYOB, aims to solve this problem by allowing you to determine how job data should be split and create the necessary general journal transactions to shuffle the data correctly.
In a typical scenario, pay data is allocated to jobs used as “clearing job” for each employee. The Payroll Job Reallocation Solution is then setup to reallocate values assigned to these clearing jobs into other jobs. At a click of a button, the software calculates the correct ratios and records the correct general journal transactions into MYOB.

This add-on is currently only compatible with MYOB AccountRight 19.10 or lower. As soon as the API for MYOB AccountRight Live 2013 or higher is enhanced to allow us to access and record the correct data, we will aim to enhance this solution.
